Carrie was born and raised in Arkansas and holds two degrees from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock - a B.A. in Theatre Arts and a Master's Certification in nonprofit management.
Those degrees led her to a small career backstage as a stage manager at Ballet Arkansas. While at Ballet Arkansas, she oversaw productions of Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker, George Balanchine's Who Cares?, and many more. Though she is not classically trained in dance, she was a cheerleader in High School. She has been told by at least one ballerina that that counts for something.
Carrie has a passion for helping the homeless population, as well. She served as an AmeriCorps Vista for Our House shelter, was a crisis hotline manager for Women and Children First, and co-created a five-year strategic plan for Lucie's Place.
Carrie is thrilled her career path led her to be part of the DNT Media team and she can quote the TV series Mad Men by heart.
